Installation Procedure

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  1. Install the generator (2) and tighten the fastener (1) to 58 N.m (43 lb ft).

  2. Install the engine harness (2) to the generator mounting stud and tighten the fastener (1) to 58 N.m (43 lb ft).

  3. Connect the engine harness connector (1) to the generator and install the battery positive terminal (3) to the generator stud. Tighten the fastener (2) to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).
  4. Install the right engine mount strut. Refer to Engine Mount Strut Replacement - Right Side .
  5. Install the drive belt idler pulley. Refer to Drive Belt Idler Pulley Replacement .
  6. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
