Installation Procedure

  1. Install the liftgate window into the opening. Refer to Adhesive Installation of Liftgate Windows .
  2. Install the rear window wiper arm. Refer to Rear Window Wiper Arm Replacement (Acadia) , Rear Window Wiper Arm Replacement (Enclave) or Rear Window Wiper Arm Replacement (Traverse) .
  3. Connect the liftgate window defogger electrical connectors to the bus bar.
  4. Install the liftgate trim. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement (Traverse) , Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement (Enclave) or Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement (Acadia) .
  5. Remove the double layer of masking tape around the perimeter of the painted surfaces and the interior trim.
  6. Close the liftgate.
