Installation Procedure

  1. Install the air cleaner lower housing (3) to the vehicle.
  2. Apply suitable downward pressure to the air cleaner lower housing (3) to engage the retainer (2).
    3. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Install the air cleaner to chassis retaining bolts (1) and tighten to 10 (89 lb in).
  4. Install the air cleaner element Refer to Air Cleaner Element Replacement .
