Installation Procedure
- Install Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Bracket. Refer to Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Bracket Replacement
- Carefully install the brake pressure modulator valve (3) and the brake pressure modulator valve bracket (2) to the vehicle.
- Install and tighten Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Bracket Bolt (1) to 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
- Connect Electrical Connector (1) @ Electronic Brake Control Module (2)
- Tighten Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Primary Pipe (1) @ Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (2) to 32 N.m (24 lb ft)
- Tighten Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Primary Pipe (1) @ Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (2) to 32 N.m (24 lb ft)
- Install and tighten Brake Pipe Fitting (1) @ Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (3) (Qty: 4) to 18 N.m (13 lb ft)
- Install and tighten Brake Pipe Fitting (2) @ Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (3) to 32 N.m (24 lb ft)
- Install Radiator Surge Tank (1)
- Instal Radiator Surge Tank Bracket Clip (2)
- Install Dash Upper Extension Panel Opening Cover. Refer to Dash Upper Extension Panel Opening Cover Replacement
- Enable the High Voltage system. Refer to High Voltage Enabling
- Program the electronic brake control module. Refer to Electronic Brake Control Module Programming and Setup
- Bleed the brake system. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding

Make sure brake pipes are correctly connected to brake pressure modulator valve. If brake pipes are switched by mistake, wheel lockup will occur and personal injury may result. The only two ways this condition can be detected are by using a Scan Tool or by doing an Antilock stop.

Make sure, that the electronic brake control module is fully seated into the grommets after the brake pipes are tightened.
