Installation Procedure
- Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Bracket - Install - Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Bracket Replacement
Carefully install the brake pressure modulator valve (3) and the brake pressure modulator valve bracket (2) to the vehicle.
- Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
Electrical Connector (1)@Electronic Brake Control Module (2) - Connect
- WARNING:
Make sure brake pipes are correctly connected to brake pressure modulator valve. If brake pipes are switched by mistake, wheel lockup will occur and personal injury may result. The only two ways this condition can be detected are by using a Scan Tool or by doing an Antilock stop.
Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Primary Pipe (1)@Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (2) - Install and tighten 32 N.m (24 lb ft)
- NOTE:
Make sure, that the electronic brake control module is fully seated into the grommets after the brake pipes are tightened.
Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Primary Pipe (1)@Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (2) - Install and tighten32 N.m (24 lb ft)
- NOTE:
Make sure, that the electronic brake control module is fully seated into the grommets after the brake pipes are tightened.
Brake Pipe Fitting (1)@Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (3) - Install and tighten [4x] 18 N.m (13 lb ft)
- Brake Pipe Fitting (2)@Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (3) - Install and tighten 32 N.m (24 lb ft)
Radiator Surge Tank (1) - Install
- Radiator Surge Tank Bracket Clip (2) - Install
- Dash Upper Extension Panel Opening Cover - Install - Dash Upper Extension Panel Opening Cover Replacement
- Enable the high voltage system. High Voltage Enabling
- Program the electronic brake control module. Control Module References
- Bleed the brake system. Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding
