WARNING: Refer to SIR Warning . WARNING: Do not strike or jolt the inflatable restraint sensing and diagnostic module (SDM). Before applying power to the SDM, make sure that it is securely fastened with the arrow facing toward the front of the vehicle. Failure to observe the correct installation procedure could cause SIR deployment, personal injury, or unnecessary SIR system repairs. Preliminary Procedure Disable the SIR system. SIR Disabling and Enabling Rear Floor Console Replacement Remove the pedestrian sound alert module and bracket. Pedestrian Sound Alert Module Replacement
1	Airbag Sensing and Diagnostic Module Nut [ 3x ] CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 9 N.m (80 lb/in)
2	Airbag Sensing and Diagnostic Module Procedure Disconnect the electrical connectors. Perform the necessary programming and setup procedure: Control Module References Enable the SIR system. SIR Disabling and Enabling
