Replace and Program ECU or Reprogram ECU

To program a replacement or an existing ECU, perform the following procedure:

    NOTE:

    Programming this ECU using SPS does not program the odometer value. The odometer information will be pre-programmed to the replacement instrument cluster.

  1. Access the Service Programming System (SPS) and follow the on-screen instructions.
  2. On the SPS Supported Controllers screen, select P16 Instrument Cluster - Programming and follow the on-screen instructions.
  3. At the end of programming, choose the "Clear All DTCs" function on the SPS screen.
