Removal Procedure

- Disable the SIR system. SIR Disabling and Enabling
Fold the assist handle downward and hold. (2)
- Use a small flat-bladed tool to open the assist handle covers to access the bolts.
- Roof Rail Rear Assist Handle Bolt (1) - Remove [ 4x ]
- Roof Rail Rear Assist Handle (2) - Remove [ 2x ]
Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel Bolt Cap (1) - Remove [ 2x ]
- Center Pillar Upper Garnish Molding Bolt (2) - Remove [ 2x ]
Pull the trim panel toward the inside of the vehicle to disengage the retainers.
- Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel (1) - Reposition [ 2x ]
Fold the rear seat back to the downward position.
- Quarter Window Trim Finish Panel Bolt Cap (1) - Remove [ 2x ]
- Quarter Window Trim Finish Panel Bolt (2) - Remove [ 2x ]
Disengage the retainers, starting at the front and working rearward.
- Quarter Upper Trim Panel (1) - Reposition [ 2x ]
Lower the rear section of the headlining trim panel (1).
Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Sunroof Control Module Bolt (1) - Remove [ 2x ]
- Sunroof Control Module (2) - Remove
NOTE:
The Quarter Upper Trim Panel does not need to be fully removed from the vehicle.
