Power Windows: Testing: Switch
- If failure is in passenger or rear door, connect jumper wires to that switch connector as shown in Fig 1 or Fig 2 , depending on model. Check operation of motor by making jumper connections on left front main switch connector as shown in Fig 1 and Fig 2 .
- If the failure is in the left front door, it is not necessary to disconnect or jump any other switch. If the motor operates using jumper wires, a switch is the cause of the failure. If window motor does not operate using jumper wires, perform Motor Lift Test.
