Coolant Switch Test

  1. Turn ignition off and disconnect wire connector from switch. Connect one ohmmeter lead to one switch terminal and the other lead to remaining switch terminal.
  2. An engine at 70° F (21° C), should show 5000-6000 ohms. If not, replace switch.
