Ignition System: Distributor
All 1.6L and 2.2L engines are equipped with Chrysler Corp. Hall Effect Electronic Spark Control Ignition system. All 2.6L engines are equipped with Mitsubishi Electronic Ignition system. The only adjustments that can be made to either system are initial ignition timing (changing distributor position) and spark plug gap.
