Mechanical Failure

Mechanical problems are not easy to pinpoint as logic module is capable of correcting for such items as vacuum leaks, incorrect cam timing, low compression and other problems caused by wear or poor repair practices. If engine is not performing properly and no diagnostic fault codes are displayed, check for mechanical faults rather than electronic faults.
