Power Draw Test

If power seat malfunctions, test for electrical or mechanical failure. With wiring connected and dome light on, operate switches. Watch dome light for evidence of power draw by seat motor. If dome light dims, motor is jammed, indicating a mechanical problem. If there is no evidence of power draw, electrical problems are indicated.
