Left Front Wheel Speed Sensor Continuity Fault

NOTE: For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION. For wiring diagram, see wiring diagram.
  1. Using an external ohmmeter, check resistance between CAB connector terminals No. 8 (Red/Dark Blue wire) and No. 9 (Red wire). If resistance is less than 5 ohms, repair Red/Dark Blue and Red wires for short to each other. Perform TEST VER-1A. If resistance is more than 5 ohms, go to next step.
  2. Disconnect left front WSS. Connect a jumper wire between chassis ground and terminal No. 2 (Red wire) of left front WSS. Using scan tool in ohmmeter mode, check resistance of CAB connector terminal No. 9 (Red wire). If resistance is less than 5 ohms, repair open in Red/Dark Blue wire. Perform TEST VER-1A. If resistance is more than 5 ohms, repair open in Red wire. Perform TEST VER-1A.
