Power Circuit

  1. Remove driver's door trim panel. See DOOR TRIM PANEL  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Disconnect driver's power window switch connector. Turn ignition on.
  2. Measure voltage between ground and terminal No. 1 (Tan wire) at power window wiring harness connector. See Fig 1 . If battery voltage is present, go to next step. If battery voltage is not present, check circuit breaker No. 19 (20 amp). Repair as necessary. If circuit breaker is okay, check for an open circuit between ignition switch and power window switch connector.
  3. Turn ignition off. Check for continuity between ground and terminal No. 10 (Black wire) at window switch wiring harness connector. If continuity exists, ground circuit is okay. If continuity does not exist, repair open circuit to ground.
