Trouble Shooting

When trouble shooting problems with Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) system, ensure power door lock system is operating properly. If doors do not lock/unlock with power switches, check lock/unlock switches, lock/unlock relay and lock/unlock motors. See appropriate POWER DOOR LOCKS article. If power door lock system is okay, check Power Distribution Center (PDC) fuse "G" (40-amp). Check junction block fuse No. 13 (10-amp). Check batteries in transmitter(s). Check Body Control Module (BCM). See appropriate BODY CONTROL COMPUTER TESTS article.
