Section 115 (Hood System): Latch: Installation

  1. Connect hood release cable to hood latch.
  2. Place hood latch in position on crossmember.
  3. Install nuts attaching hood latch to crossmember. Tighten nuts to 22.6 to 33.9 N.m (200 to 300 in.lbs.) torque.
  4. Verify hood latch operation before closing hood.
