Front Suspension: Description
Front suspension is MacPherson strut type. Top of strut assembly connects to strut tower through a rubber isolated mount. Bottom of strut assembly bolts to steering knuckle by 2 serrated bolts. Lower control arm is mounted between cradle assembly and steering knuckle. Ball joint is an integral part of lower control arm. A tension strut is used to control front-to-rear movement of lower control arm. See Fig 1 .
