Trouble Shooting
When trouble shooting Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) system, ensure power door lock system is operating properly. If doors do not lock and/or unlock with power switches, check lock/unlock switches and lock/unlock motors. See POWER DOOR LOCKS & TRUNK RELEASE - CONCORDE, INTREPID, LHS & 300M article. Check lock and unlock relays in junction block. See Fig 1. If power door lock system is okay, check Power Distribution Center (PDC) fuse "G" (40-amp). See Figure and Fig 2 . Check related fuses and power circuits to related fuses in junction block. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Check batteries in transmitter(s). See TRANSMITTER BATTERIES under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. If no problems are found, go to SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM .
