Generator DECOUPLER Pulley: Installation

Install the Generator Decoupler to the generator shaft.
Use Special Tool #8433 (Figure ) to tighten the Generator Decoupler (Fig 1 ). Refer to the torque chart for the proper torque.

Install the Air Box.
Raise vehicle and support.
Install accessory drive belt, refer to COOLING SYSTEM section for proper procedures (Figure ).
Install the right front lower splash shield.
Lower vehicle.
Connect battery negative cable.
