Cable-Speed Control: Description

The speed control servo cable is connected between the speed control vacuum servo diaphragm and the throttle body control linkage. This cable is used with 3.7L/4.7L gas powered engines only. It is also used if equipped with a 5.9L diesel engine equipped with an automatic transmission.
A speed control servo cable is not used if equipped with either a 5.9L diesel engine equipped with a manual transmission, or any 5.7L engine/transmission combinations.
