Engine & Automatic Transmission Cooling System: Engine: Radiator: Removal
| 1 - UPPER RADIATOR CLOSURE PANELS |
| 2 - UPPER RADIATOR HOSE |
| 3 - RADIATOR FAN ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR |
| 4 - RADIATOR FAN ASSEMBLY |
- Disconnect negative battery cable.
- Drain cooling system. See STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Remove upper radiator hose clamps.
- Remove upper radiator closure panels (1).
- Remove radiator fan assembly (4). See REMOVAL .
1 - LOWER RADIATOR HOSE 2 - RADIATOR FAN ASSEMBLY - Raise vehicle.
- Remove lower splash shield.
- Remove lower radiator hose (1).
- Remove lower condenser mount bolts.
- Lower vehicle.
- Remove upper radiator hose (2).CAUTION: Bolts have a tread locker on them, use hand tools to remove the upper radiator mounting bolts.
- Remove upper radiator mounting brackets (1) and bolts (2).
- Remove upper condenser mounting bolts.
- Separate condenser assembly from radiator.
- Tilt radiator toward engine and remove radiator from vehicle.
