General Procedure

Inspect the following items:

The fluid reservoir for overfill.
Fluid for aeration and overflow.
The hoses for loose connections.
The torsion bar stub shaft and adjuster seals for leaks.
The component sealing surfaces for damage.

CAUTION: Verify exact point of leak. The point from which fluid is dripping is not necessarily point at which system is leaking. When service is required, clean leak area upon disassembly, replace leaking seal, check component sealing surfaces for damage and reset torque bolt to specifications, where required.
