Steering Rack Bench Test: Installation

  1. Stop engine. Disconnect power steering pipes from power steering gear. Remove extensions and reconnect pressure and return lines. Install and connect power steering gear.
  2. Start engine and allow it to idle for 10 seconds. Check power steering fluid level.
