Installation - 1.6L

  1. Install the sensor. See Figure.
  2. Install knock sensor. See Figure. Tighten knock sensor bolt to 22 N.m (195 in. lbs.) torque. Over or under tightening effects knock sensor performance resulting in possible improper spark control. 
  3. Locate the electrical connector. See Figure.
  4. Connect the heretical connector. See Figure.
  5. Install the fuel rail cover. See Figure.
  6. Connect the negative battery cable.
