Radiator, Engine Cooling: Removal: Gas

1 - UPPER HOSE
2 - LOWER HOSE
  1. Disconnect negative cable from battery.
  2. Drain the cooling system Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  3. Remove coolant recovery container. Refer to BOTTLE, COOLANT RECOVERY, REMOVAL .
  4. Remove the radiator fan. Refer to FAN, COOLING, REMOVAL .
  5. Remove upper and lower radiator hoses (1, 2).
  6. Remove the grill. Refer to GRILLE, REMOVAL .
  7. Remove upper radiator crossmember and position out of way. Refer to CROSSMEMBER, RADIATOR, REMOVAL .
  8. Remove screw that secures the condenser taping block to the radiator located in the right corner of the engine compartment.
  9. Disengage the condenser retaining tabs
  10. Disengage the radiator retaining tabs.
  11. Lift radiator out of vehicle.
