Throttle Body: Installation

Check the condition of the throttle body-to-intake manifold seal (1). The seal can be reused if not damaged.
Clean the mating surfaces of the throttle body and intake manifold.

Position the throttle body (2) to the intake manifold.
Install the throttle body mounting bolts (3) and tighten in a criss-cross pattern sequence to the proper torque specification. Refer to FUEL INJECTION, GAS, TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
Connect the electrical connector (1) to the Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) (2) and secure the ETC harness to the clip (4) on the throttle body.
Install the resonator. Refer to RESONATOR, AIR CLEANER, INSTALLATION .
Connect the negative battery cable.
