Heater, Engine Block: Installation

  1. Thoroughly clean the cylinder block heater cavity and seat.
  2. Install the engine block heater (1) and tighten the engine block heater bolt (2) to the proper specifications. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  3. Attach the power cord plug to the engine block heater.
  4. Fill the cooling system to the proper level. Refer to the appropriate service information.
  5. Install the A/C compressor. Refer to COMPRESSOR, A/C, INSTALLATION .
