Module, Power Inverter: Installation

  1. If separated, install the mounting bracket to the PIM. Install the fasteners and tighten securely.

  2. Install the Power Inverter Module (PIM) (1) into the instrument panel. Install the fasteners (2) and tighten securely.
  3. Connect the wire harness connector(s).
  4. Install the steering column opening cover. Refer to COVER, STEERING COLUMN OPENING, INSTALLATION .
  5. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
