Module, Wireless Charging Pad: Description
The Wireless Charging Pad (WCP) module (1) and pad are located at center of the instrument panel just above the cup holder in the phone holder (2).
The wireless charging system is enabled when the vehicle is in running condition and the vehicle battery is sufficiently charged.
There is an LED on the wireless charging base. The LED notifies the charging status of the smartphone. It has colors:
- No Color - There are no objects in the compartment and/or the vehicle ignition device is in the STOP position and/or the doors are not all closed properly and the engine is not running.
- Red LED - Wireless charging system malfunction or a smartphone that is not enabled for wireless charging or a prohibited object (credit cards, coins etc.) has been placed on the charging base.
- Blue LED - The smartphone is correctly positioned on the charging base and the system is activated.
- Green LED - Charging completed.
