Ignition System - DUCELLIER Computer Controlled: Description

The Ducellier Computer Controlled Electronic Ignition System consists of a solid state Ignition Control Module (ICM), Electronic Control Unit (ECU), TDC sensor, primary and secondary circuits and a distributor assembly. The ICM is located on the firewall, behind the engine. The ECU is located on the left-hand front fender apron, the 35-pin connector is Black.

The distributor assembly contains no electrical components other than a distributor cap and rotor. The ignition coil is located with the ICM and can be removed and serviced separately. Various sensors are connected to ECU and ICM. These sensors feed electrical signals to both components which regulate performance of engine under different load requirements.
