Ignition Coil Check

  1. Turn ignition switch to "OFF" position. Ensure both connectors are secured to ICM. Remove ignition coil from ICM. Attach a test light across the coil terminals. Engage starter motor. Test light should flash at starter motor speed.
  2. If test light does not flash, check ECU signal at terminal "B" of connector No. 2. If ECU signal is good, repeat step 1). Replace ICM if test light does not flash.
