Injector Test with Engine Running

  1. Start engine and bring to operating temperature. Disconnect injector wire, one at a time.
  2. Engine RPM should drop, each time an injector is disconnected. If any cylinder does not change RPM, switch wire connectors between operational injector.
  3. If injector that did not operate does, wire harness is defective. If injector that did not operate does not, injector is defective.
