MPFI System: Operation: Notes
The ECU calculates ignition timing and operates ignition power module. Ignition timing is changed by ECU to any engine operating condition. Inputs from sensors such as air temperature, coolant temperature, engine speed, manifold pressure and spark knock sensor provide input to the ECU. The ECU in turn controls output components.
