Speedometer Does Not Operate

  1. Operate cruise control. If cruise control does not operate correctly, go to next step. If cruise control operates correctly, check wires between speedometer and speed module. If wires are okay, replace speedometer assembly.
  2. If cruise control does not operate correctly, check vehicle speed sensor. If speed sensor is okay, check speed sensor wire to cluster. If speed sensor wire is okay, go to next step. If speed sensor wire is not okay, repair or replace faulty wires.
  3. If speed sensor wire is okay, check the power and ground wires to speed module and repair or replace if needed. If wires are okay, replace speed module.
