Test 1

The trip computer will display size of the vehicles fuel tank (in gallons) and will also display one of two different software revision levels (version 2 or version 3) for approximately one second.

With version 2 software, every segment in the display is illuminated and then extinguished. This segment testing will continue until the "TRIP/TIME" switch or the "FUEL/TEMP" switch is depressed, or if self-diagnostics mode is exited.

With version 3 software, the software revision level and fuel tank size code will continue to display until the "TRIP/TIME" switch or the "FUEL/TEMP" switch is depressed, or if self-diagnostics mode is exited.
