Steering Column: Inspection

Check steering shaft for damage. Check for worn or damaged bushings or dust cover. Check for play or rough movement of joint assembly. Replace damaged components.

CAUTION: If steering lock is removed, use new steering lock bracket and bolts when reassembling steering lock. Replace column bracket bolt.
