Power Window Switch Test

Remove control switch from trim panel. Using ohmmeter, check continuity of switch. See appropriate WINDOW SWITCH CONTINUITY TABLE. See Fig 1 or Fig 2 . Replace appropriate switch as necessary if switch continuity is not as specified.

Normal Position
Left Front OFF 2, 3 & 10
Left Rear OFF 1, 3 & 7
Left Front UP 2 & 4; 3 & 10
Left Rear UP 1 & 3; 4 & 7
Left Front DOWN 2 & 3; 4 & 10
Left Rear DOWN 1 & 4; 3 & 7
Right Front OFF 3, 5 & 11
Right Rear OFF 3, 6 & 14
Right Front UP 3 & 5; 4 & 11
Right Rear UP 3 & 14; 4 & 6
Right Front DOWN 3 & 11; 4 & 5
Right Rear DOWN 3 & 6; 4 & 14
Lock Position
Left Front OFF 2, 3 & 10
Left Rear OFF 1 & 7
Left Front UP 2 & 4; 3 & 10
Left Rear UP 4 & 7
Left Front DOWN 2 & 3; 4 & 10
Left Rear DOWN 1 & 4
Right Front OFF 5 & 11
Right Rear OFF 6 & 14
Right Front UP 4 & 11
Right Rear UP 4 & 6
