Stator Test

  1. Scribe generator housing for reassembly reference. Remove generator through-bolts and separate generator housings. Using ohmmeter, check for continuity between coil and core. No continuity should exist.
  2. If continuity exists, replace stator assembly. Check for continuity between stator coil leads. Continuity should exist. If no continuity exits, replace stator assembly.
