Hazard Warning Switch Test

Remove hazard switch. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER TRIM PANEL SWITCHES under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Using ohmmeter, check switch circuit continuity at specified connector terminals with switch in indicated positions. See HAZARD WARNING SWITCH RESISTANCE . See Fig 1 . If continuity is not as specified, replace hazard switch.

⁽¹⁾	With switch in either position, continuity should exist at terminals No. 9 and 10 for switch illumination.
