Toe-In Adjustment (Front)

NOTE: When performing four-wheel alignment, rear camber and toe adjustment must be set to specification first, then adjust front wheels to specification.

With steering wheel centered, loosen tie rod end lock nuts. While holding steering rod dust boots stationary, rotate tie rods to obtain specified toe-in. See WHEEL ALIGNMENT SPECIFICATIONS  table. See Fig 1. Tighten lock nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  table.

On 1998 Concorde and Intrepid, loosen tie rod adjustment pinch bolt. Rotate adjustment sleeve to set to specification. Ensure exposed threaded area does not exceed .79" (20 mm). Tighten pinch bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  table.
