Performance Tests

Mount starter in suitable test stand and perform running test, no load test and stall (lock) test. Starter should develop 2.78±.14 ft. lbs. torque while drawing 280 amps at 1500-1700 RPM, 9.5 volts. At 12 volts, 28 amps under no load conditions, armature speed should be 5200±500 RPM. Stall torque test should produce 12.58±.7 ft. lbs. torque at 12 volts, 28 or less amps.
