Switch, Ignition: Removal

  1. Disconnect the and isolate the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the steering column trim. Refer to SHROUD, STEERING COLUMN, UPPER, REMOVAL .
  3. Disconnect the aerial antenna electrical connector.
  4. Remove the aerial antenna ring
  5. Disconnect the electrical connection for the ignition switch.
  6. Remove the bolts head with a hammer and chisel or other suitable tool.
