Cold Start Spark Advance System: Description

Some engines are equipped with a Cold Start Spark Advance (CSSA) system to provide additional control of distributor vacuum advance. CSSA system consists of 125°F CSSA Ported Vacuum Switch (PVS), a 235°F coolant PVS, a distributor Retard Delay Valve (RDV) and a Spark Delay Valve (SDV).
