ECA 2 - Code 01 - Ignition Pulse

  1. Check for loose connectors, corrosion or damage at ignition coil negative terminal and ECA terminal 1M. Repair as necessary.
  2. With key on, engine off, check voltage at terminal 1M at ECA. Voltage should read 12-14 Volts. If voltage reading is correct, replace ECA.
  3. If voltage reading is incorrect, check for short in White wire from coil negative terminal to terminal 1M of ECA. If symptom still persists, go to ECA 55  .
