Preliminary Information

Ensure battery is fully charged. Disconnect and reconnect battery to reset system. If none of the complaints that follow are the problem, go directly to step 1). If any of the complaints that follow seem to be the problem, go to appropriate test.

• If door locks bind when manually operated, proceed to TEST E  , step 1).
• If system does not operate in freezing temperature, proceed to TEST E  , step 19).
• If door locks work only when engine is running, proceed to TEST E  , step 20).
• If door locks work intermittently, proceed to TEST E  , step 18).
• If illuminated entry does not work when door is opened by hand but works properly with keyless entry, go to TEST D  , step 1).
