Instrument Cluster Ground Check

  1. Check for 11-13 volts on Black wire at instrument cluster 18-pin connector. See Figure . Instrument cluster 18-pin connector is located on right side of dash, near steering column.
  2. If voltmeter reads 11-13 volts, repair Black wire between gauges and ground. If voltmeter does not read 11-13 volts at 18-pin Black wire, replace voltmeter.
