Tachometer Testing
- Disconnect Yellow/Blue wire from ignition coil and place a signal generator and tachometer tester between Yellow/Blue wire and ground.
- Compare tester and tachometer readings. Refer to the TACHOMETER SPECIFICATIONS table.
- If readings are within the allowable range, proceed to WARNING LIGHT SYSTEM CHECK . If readings are not within allowable range, replace tachometer.
