Starter No-Load Test
- Connect battery, voltmeter, ammeter and remote starter switch to starter. See Fig 2.
- Engage remote starter switch, starter should turn smoothly. Voltmeter should read 11 volts and ammeter should read no more than 90 amps.
- If voltage is lower or amperage is higher than specification, disassemble starter and determine cause.
