Turbo Boost Control Solenoid Valve Check

  1. Remove small air tube from turbocharger inlet air hose. Disconnect turbo boost control solenoid valve electrical connector.
  2. Blow through small air tube and ensure air will not flow. Apply 12 volts to one terminal of the electrical connector and ground the other terminal.
  3. Blow through the air tube and ensure that air flows through the tube. If solenoid valve does not pass test, replace solenoid valve.
